Harvest Tide Day 6 - Now What?

General Summary

After the party finishes their business at Octavius's Outrageous Odditites, Willumin returns to the Generic Store - where he garnred a 38 sp credit for the bearmit crab crab meat. He also learned that the Thunder Mountain Merchants, who travel between villages, have heard of some things going around - people being killed by the local wildlife.
Meanwhile, when asked where Mizzix obtained some of the metal he uses to make his contraptions, he responds by pulling out a really rusted piece of warforged, "I dug it out of the ground"
The party travels about 15 minutes north out of town, to visit the merchants that have more information, where they encounter then Thunder Mountain Merchants

• Dwarf: Bungron (male, Age: 62 years, Height: 4'2", Weight: 151 lbs, Eyes: Brown, Skin: Pale (red-tinged), Hair: Reddish-brown - 2nd generation)
• Dwarf: Solgwyn (female, Age: 178 years, Height: 4'4", Weight: 158 lbs, Eyes: Brown, Skin: Brown, Hair: Brown - 1st generation, arrived on the Golden Maiden)
• Half-Orc: Rawonar (female, Age: 31 years, Height: 6'2", Weight: 252 lbs, Eyes: Red, Skin: Greenish-gray, Hair: Dark Brown - 4th generation)
• Human: Hardy (male, Age: 32 years, Height: 5'8", Weight: 158 lbs, Eyes: Brown, Skin: Dark Brown, Hair: Brown (3rd generation)

From the merchants, they learn that:

1. Fishermen and others traveling around Mikol lake have been killed. The creature apparently only takes their teeth, eyes, and fingernails. Before, shiny things people were carrying went missing every now and then, but they figured it was just something like a gnome playing tricks or a good sneak thief. Doubt any gnomes or thieves would do this though...
2. A small town called Riverside has been attacked by some monsters recently
3. They animated some kegs of beer to walk to ease the burden on their horses, but the kegs went wild. Watch out for them on the roads

After learning the information, the party decides to spend the night chatting with the traveling merchants. During this time, Mizzix goes off to find some herbs - specifically, he found 2 Whiskey Herbs, something that he claims is close to what Dwarven Death Sticks are made of. Mizzix dries the herbs with his own closely tended fire overnight, giving Willumin 1 pound and the other pound of dried Whiskey Herb to Thalamin. Mizzix also finds, 3 Mandrake root, 2 Snake Root, and 2 Wyrmtounge Petals.
The next day, when given the herbs, Willumin looks at his present skeptically, "Will try it later", as they head off towards Riverside
