Al Eddar

A hub of educational institutions, it has all the resources a mage could ask for – a mountainous range with mines for resources, nearby woods and grasslands, along the coast, and the biggest mystery of all – the Scar.

Arcane Collegium of Al Eddar

Lead by Collegium Guild Master, the school is the largest arcane school in Al Eddar. It does not specialize in a specific arcane art, but rather it has all of the arcane schools.

Academy of Bishamon

The school specializes in conjuration, so much so that they don’t even have a physical building. The main hall, the Peerless Collapsible Collegium, is conjured by the headmaster, while other buildings are conjured by the professors in an ad hoc manner. The Peerless Collapsible Collegium is where the school’s lavishly appointed refectory, libraries (it has three), classrooms, and even student quarters and a faculty hall are located.
They tend to not accept students that are evil or chaotic bend and the selection process is quite vigorous as they do not want their students to be summoning anything that could pose the destructive powers that caused the Scar.
The headmaster is Harman Lottbert, a wildly bearded bald man with a prodigious record of arcane research and a powerful inspiration to his students.

Zataz’s Chambers

Lead by Orlando, a wizard of deep insight and peculiar habits prone to whimsy and to powerful intuition.
Many find that the small college (normally consisting of only a few dozen students) as both inventive and frankly bizarre, with little respect for the traditions and practices upheld elsewhere. At the same time, it’s hard to argue with the results, the school turns out excellent students.

Guild of Master Chemysts

Lead by Andress the Ageless, the eternally young Guild Master, the Guild is where the best alchemists go to study. The wares created by the school fund it and bring great prosperity and trade to the city of Al Eddar.
Anyone is able to take part in the Guild, providing that they are able to pay the fees, which range from 250 gp for the lowliest bottle-washing wretch to 5,000 gp a season for noble lordlings seeking to master the elements.

Dragoncoil College

Located in Isphahan, the Dragoncoil College is the best possible school for evocation magic, specializing in elemental abilities. Most of the students are dragonkin and kobolds, although an unscaled individual of sufficient talent may also be accepted.
