Pregoria

Pregoria is a world of adventure and mystery. The old gods once ruled this world in more direct fashion but long ago lost interest in the day-to-day running and left to their palaces in the sky to entertain themselves. However, when they left they did not take all of the magic with them, nor the monsters and creatures that it helped to create. It is a world littered with ruins and steeped in myth, though these myths are more real than most people would care to know.   This world is made up of many different island nations that at different times are at war or at peace. Most people still worship the old gods though some claim that since the gods abandoned them long ago then there is no reason to worship them. Mysteries are prevalent across the land and seas and very few have been discovered and explored. Creatures of myths and legends roam the world, remnants of when the gods lived among the mortal beings of the world, often causing destruction behind them.
