Post-Cataclysm

A post apocalypse world in the stages of rebuilding. Five years since the cataclysm, and only a handful of small, scattered settlements remain. It's not entirely clear what caused the original upset, but large cities are basically nonexistent. The groups left are those that have worked together to create sustainable living with little technology. Occasionally roaming groups attempt to survive by raiding and salvaging, but by now there is little to salvage that hasn't decayed beyond repair.   The focus is on Nix, a broadcaster in the Wickhills settlement in the Pacific Northwest of what used to be the United States. They feed the listener information about day to day life in the settlement, without knowing if their broadcast is reaching anyone.   (There might be elements of horror as the story progresses, involving attacks on Wickhills and potential creatures.
