Robbecus' lies

My dear Alexandra

Word has reached me that you are worried about my sanity. I know we haven't been able to hold each other for over a year but problems at the capital occupy my time. I am doing fine, no, great. There are senators who instigate crime to undermine the imperial authority. I am hunting these crooks down and sending them to Hades. But it's a slow and cruciating job. That is why I don't have time for romantic endeavors. And you should know better. I know you are busy as well, governing the isles that we conquored for them not to rebel. Walking a tight rope between the wishes of the natives and the empire.   However, you have sent multiple deligations asking us to meet up. This proves I'm unable to take care of your needs. That is why I propose to end our engagement. I've already sent the request to my father. Once I have his consent you'll be able to choose a partner near you that will be able to take care of you.   Greatings Robbecus

This letter was personally written by the prince himself and ordered to be given to Alexandra. The courier, however, being a close associate could no longer ignore the lies about being in good health. In reality, the prince was possessed with depression and guilt for his failures at the start of the campaign. The very reasons why he was dispatched to sit at the sidelines. This letter marks the beginning of a golden age for the areas under Alexandra and Robbecus. After the associate named Aspasia wrote a letter to Alexandra about the reality of the situation she confronted the prince herself and was able to help him out.
