Rune of Faces

This runebound shard is very light blue in colour, and has many intricate designs all over it. Cold to the touch, it endows incredible powers of illusion and teleportation to its bearer.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Activation: As an action, the bearer creates an "avatar", an illusion with silhouette equal to the bearers silhouette. The avatar acts as if created by a Mask spell with short range, though it persists for seven days no matter the distance from the bearer. The avatar stays within short range of it's original location. Up to five avatars can exist at one time.
An avatar can be detected as an illusion through a Daunting Vigilance or Perception check. The avatars can be dispelled by Hard Arcana, Verse, or Runes check.
Activation: Once per week, the bearer can teleport to the exact location of any avatar. They assume the form of that avatar, as if under a Mask spell, for as long as they are within short range of that avatar's original location. At the exact location they teleported from, an avatar is created as above.
Implement: The bearer's Mask spells last until the end of an encounter without needing concentration maneuvers.
