Mindwarp Rune

This rune is dark blue, almost black. Targets of the activation of this rune are affected mentally by its strong magical energies. It plagues the mind and wrecks havoc on thoughts and emotions. It can make things seem grisly or gruesome. They may see the Ynfaernal or ghosts -- in any case, they see, hear, feel or otherwise sense their worst fears.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Activation: As an action, the bearer of the rune can choose a target and make an Average Discpline check. The target loses strain equal to 6 plus the number of successes rolled. The target is Disoriented for one round.
Implement: Attack spells gain Stun 3, Disorient 1.
There is no evident physical manifestation of the use of this rune. Only through magical means could you tell where the effect is coming from.
