A prolonged battle for control of several islands in the Tertiary Island Chain

For many years, raids by the Orc tribes on the fringes of the Association of Tertiary Islands were seen as a nuisance but were mostly ignored by those not directly in danger. This changed when a Orc chief managed to unify several of the warring tribes and overran a sparely populated island. A prolonged war between the two nations ensued, and it was only ended with the defeat and execution of the charismatic Orc chief.
