Planet Caelum

Caelum is a congealment of floating landmasses, linked together by a magical force called the Leyline or nicknamed by the inhabitant’s Spirit Circuits. The Planet has three known areas compromising with Sky, Land, and Sea. The Leyline weaves through the floating continents like rivers, suspending them in the air and in an orbit around the core of the ‘planet’. The Renacitur is the Leyline heart and is known to be the capital of the Elven Race.   A Piece of the spire from the astral plane that keeps the shattered planet linked together with its leyline energy, people travel the Leylines in special ships designed to ride the raw magical life energy allowing travel from one floating mass to the other.   Rumors have said that the world did not use to be this way. In legend the world was one, all the land was connected and large bodies of water spanned into the horizon. No one knows why the world is like it is now. All the races have adapted to this new world, and have learned to live in this new environment for an unknown amount of years.
