Wondrous Vehicles are magical, psionic or technological items that are large enough that they are not carried or held, but instead are operated by a pilot, using the Vehicle Rules from Ultimate Combat or the Starfinder core rules as applicable. Wondrous Vehicles require a pilot that is responsible for making the necessary initiative, pilot checks and other rolls involved for navigating a vehicle. Likewise, they follow all of the other rules for Vehicle Rules, including facing, turning and ramming.
Land Vehicles
Land vehicles carry occupants and cargo over hard earth or similar terrain. They are typically propelled by muscle, but can be moved by a variety of propulsion methods.
Water Vehicles
Water vehicles move across bodies of water, whether as small as a river or as large as an ocean. They are typically propelled by muscle or sail, but can be moved by a variety of propulsion methods.
Airships
Air vehicles fly through the air. They are usually propelled by air currents, alchemical engines, magic, or in the case of larger air vehicles, a mix of air currents and alchemical engines or magic. Airships, because of their nature, travel though all three dimensions instead of two. When they ascend, they must do so at half their current speed. When air vehicles descend, they can (but do not have to) move at double their current speed. After the ascent or descent, treat the vehicle’s current speed as it was before making the ascent or descent.
Voidships
Voidships fly through the empty void, be it the depths of wildspace or the empty silver of the astral. They are usually propelled by alchemical engines, magic, or high technology. Voidships behave exactly like ariships while in an atmosphere, however while in the void there is no change in speed for ascent or descent.
Timeships
Time vehicles move through time rather than travelling though the normal three dimensions. They are usually propelled by alchemical engines, magic, or high technology/
