Pladus

Pladus is the only planet in a binary star system. It is a p-type planet, meaning it orbits the two suns orbiting each other. It has one moon, which was recently (1000 years ago) hit by a giant meteor. As such, debris and small to medium meteor strikes are not uncommon. A large mark is visible from the strike on the moon, and a miniature asteroid belt has formed between the celestial bodies, including a ring around the planet.   Regarding the forces and empires dominating the planet, Pladus recently saw a collapse of the former two empires; Sonnadia in the East and South, and the Irican in the North. Former cities of the empires have created minor kingdoms across the world, thrusting Pladus into a global period of conflict and warring states. Essentially, the world as it stands is in a period of rebirth, as kingdoms dominate each other and compete for land, seeing who will take the mantle left by the collapsed former powers.   The majority of the planet is land, dominated by the super continent Cheskoe. The South Pole is largely ice, and thus remains unsettled. The only significant remaining land is in a region known as The Fragment, an archipelago of islands; the primary and largest being Serene Isle, a large tropical jungle island.
