Placeholder name

I'm still working out a lot of details, so don't poop on this please. I'm fairly new to writing as well. Any constructive criticism is appreciated!   Most of the laws of physics still apply here. Sound does not travel very quickly compared to other worlds. For example,you would hear a gunshot from next to you after the bullet had traveled about fifty feet. I'm not sure if that makes sense. Other than that, it's the 2019 modern-day world,in Texas. zombie apocalypse-type setting. No magic or superpowers,unless guns count. I'm still working out the details.   Things that aren't alive but dead,not human but animal-no,creature-roam the destroyed cites. People awaken after being killed where they died. If an arm was cleanly broken by a crowbar, they would have a missing section where the bone was broken when they woke up. If someone fell from a great height and broke their neck, they would have a deep wound on their neck. Less serious injuries, from minor bruises to gunshots,appear stitched up or bandaged. Anything short of total mutilation is stitched/bandaged.   I have the main characters and a bit of their plot worked out already. Other than that,it's all still developing.
