Personal history

after being born to two power-hungry dragons who wish to have him take over the world, they made sure he was taught magic to supplement his natural power as a blue dragon. they taught him to read as many books as he can as early as possible, teaching him as much as they know. however, they were not intelligent enough to teach fulminus what he would need to know, so they had a scholar which they had enslaved teach fulminus. fast forward 100 years, fulminus had become a blue dragon and achieved becoming a 5th level wizard. he began his conquest of the world. he started with the small village in the dwarven nation, which was next to his lair. instead of threatening the village, they entered a mutually benificial agreement. fulminus would defend the village, in exchange for labor, coin, and books. with the aid of fulminus, the village grew into what is now the capital of ulbis. he entered a situation with very high risk, revealing the location of his lair. as he expanded the lair into a labyrinth, fulminus decided he wanted more. he wanted more power, he wanted more workers, more guards, more slaves. while he entered a mutually beneficial deal with the village, it was filled with disgusting dwarves. fulminus hated the dwarves since birth, however, he realized that he shouldn't get the attention of heroes who would wish to slay him. he knew how weak he currently was, and he knew he had to get stronger. and so, he decided he would conquer a nearby village. after completely destroying the village without casting a single spell, he burned the town hall to the ground with a single fireball. then, he enslaved each of the 533 citizens, forcing them to expand his lair for him. he starved the slaves, warning the nearby village that they would end up like that if they betrayed him. the villagers complied, working harder than before. at this point, fulminus' lair was becoming increasingly huge, with his hoard matching it. again, he began to yearn for a new village to conquer, so he set his eyes on a slightly larger target. a small town to the north of his lair, he amassed a small army of his slaves and workers and raided the town. he amassed 1,000 new slaves, which he turned into an army. with this army, he delegated the task of general for the army to one of his workers which he told to pillage nearby villages for slaves and wealth, which he did. he captured more and more slaves until the royal court of the dwarven nation took note of fulminus' doings and took action. he sent an army twice the size of his own to kill fulminus. fulminus destroyed the army with his magic and strengths as a blue dragon. the survivors of the army joined that of fulminus. growing his army further. for the next 100 years, he expanded his soon to be nation further throughout the desert in which he resides, and so he decided it was time to take control. at this point, he had mastered the arcane, becoming a 20th level wizard. he took control over the dwarven palace with his massive army and superior magic and forced the entire dwarven nation to its knees. any resistance was punished by death, every citizen was forced to become loyal to fulminus. and so, fulminus instantly went from controlling a few towns and villages to the entire dwarven nation. fulminus declared war on the elven nation, destroying it in only 3 years, making the citizens of the nation his. at this point, 5 liches approached fulminus, proposing the idea of the lich court and the 5 great cities, fulminus thought it to be a great idea, and gave the liches each a city. the next target was the halfling nation, at the time the smallest nation. the halflings were protected by the elves, and such they quickly fell to fulminus. and such, ulbis, the human nation, was the last nation. after 300 years of fighting, we are brought to present day.
