Place where all my stuff is

Created by

The planet [Place where all my stuff is] was a diverse landscape with many continents separated by large bodies of water, with some connected by small land bridges. Across the globe many civilizations rose from the wilderness. Civilizations of races as different from each other as individual flowers in a meadow. But, like a flower filled meadow, they all had their place in the world and got along. For the most part.   Dwarves, The Elven Races, Gargoyals, Dragons, Avistians, And the many tribes of man all had their own places to call home. And, despite their differences, and some times petty squables, they worked together for common benefit and growth.   Races blessed with magic, worked with those that weren't, and forged an industrial magika revolution the likes of which had never seen. Never been conceived. In a short period of a couple generations they had burst through from an age of wood and iron, to steel an concrete. Advancement after advancement quickly piled up, and each one made them work that much harder.   Visual examples of this became readily available when some villages, who sat for hundreds of years with simple houses, some of which still had basic wood shingles or even thatching, suddenly found themselves neighbors with steel reinforced poured concrete constructions. The progress was both rapid, and terrible, as many had a hard time trying to keep up with the latest innovations.   It was a time of advancement. Of rejoicing. Of plenty. Robots, built with the metal skill of the dwarves, and brought to life through magical enhancements of elves, helped speed the progress. As they took over many of the laborious or dangerous works. And they, did not need rest, unlike their creators.   But then the races of [Place where all my stuff is] came to just as an abrupt realization, when their speeding train of innovation unearthed something they had never experienced before.   The resources in the world are, in fact, finite. And the need for further advancement had an ever increasing thirst for more. And they couldn't just simply go back to the ways of before. So they only had one path they could take.   War.   War on a terrible scale.
