Pirates In Space

The Universe was connected through the wondrous power of Bond Engines. Sentient alien species were finally able to come together in a spirit of learning and discovery. But all things end. After the Golden Age was the Galactic War. Now, the Galactic War is over - The Galactic Republic (GR) emerged victorious; their enemies utterly annihilated or consumed. Not to say that the galaxy is completely unified - the Federation of United Sentients (FUS) and the Arkosian Empire (AE) ended the war on good terms with the GR and have thus retained sovereignty.   It is a time of high tension, if only small scale outright violence. The galaxy is still recovering - licking it's wounds from the brutal war. Many people go on with their lives the same as they always had - but into this new, post war world, has arisen a new tier of society, a new lifestyle. It is the Age of Pirates.
