Annabella Aldridge is the new, upstart Empress of the Aspaxian Empire. She became Empress 3 years ago when she surprised the nation by winning the Magus Optimum tournament. Annabella is a controversial figure, being a woman and also seemingly entirely uninterested in the politics of Aspaxia. She claims to have won the position with the sole goal of advancing magic in order for it to be more interesting.
