Klangstien - Dwarven Instrument

The Klangstien is a musical instrument formed by cutting precisely spaced slots into stone. The remaining tines are vibrated by rubbing with wet hands (a basin of water is kept beside the instrument). The resulting sound is a musical drone best suited to funerals or (when played in a lighter style) religious ceremonies or liturgies.
