Demon

An offshoot of the Great Concepts, Lesser Concepts if you will, created by The Naked Protagonist in the year 1332. They are embodiments of the natural occurring concept of evil, each focussing on a different type of evil, a different sin if you will.
As a species, they do not directly intervene in many human affairs. There seems to be a standard among them that they do not physically interact with anything and let everything go to shit all on its own but it is unknown if this is an actual limitation or if they just tend not to. They can appear to people in places with an especially strong evil presence, manufactured or natural.
It is said that they are fragments of Old Evil. This is wrong but it gets the picture across.

Genetics and Reproduction

Known to influence human children. These children are unscientifically referred to as 'bastards', 'devils' or 'demonspawn' throughout their lives. Occasionally, the pregnancies can be unnaturally occurring. The introduced genetics seem to be arbitrary and often end up in very conventionally attractive human offspring. Unknown what qualifies women to bear demon offspring but examples can be found of them in every walk of life.

They are not named in any natural way. When they are discovered by people, they are given an identifying name correspondent to their behaviour.
