Smart concrete

Smart concrete was a technology developed and perfected to promote the welfare of the general public of Landrigate. It is the ultimate tool for building a city, being capable of altering its shape and properties. Smart concrete can be made to deliver almost any utility, from data and electricity to water or even food, to any part of itself. It is used to build towering cities and sprawling parks, with basic needs able to be filled with no concern.

Smart concrete can shift its shape to a subtle degree, but it cannot bend and move freely. It can be bent only at a very shallow angle (accounting for thickness) and cannot move without energy being applied.

While smart concrete is immensely useful, even for military applications, it cannot be hardened or reinforced very far beyond the limits of normal concrete. It can be used to defend against a conventional attack but not much beyond that.
