After the ancient lands of Zephronias were rejoined, and the Swords of Power destroyed, magic was no longer contained in a weapon. Instead it went out into all the world, giving abilities to those it deemed worthy and withholding from those it did not. But a new age has arisen. Technology which the world has never seen is rising, and superhuman heroes defend the peace against villains lurking within. But a new foe has taken over, one with the ability to control power itself. In her destructive rampage, she kills the father of a young boy and steals his powers. Later on, this Zach develops another facet of his power, but cannot reach his potential without his full power. What will he do to achieve vengeance against this tyrant who rules their land? Will he even be able to start? And what of the rebels known only as Aegis? What is their role?
