History

After the invasion of the triton homeland by the leavkin, the remaining folk fled to the northern seas of Pelagus, where they formed a small village. This village branched into several colonies throughout the centuries, one of which was Molnis: a coral reef north to the coast of the Farlands where Dagor Nirvis was born(2146KE). Originally raised in a modest agricultural lifestyle, Dagor found great interest in divine literature and during his years he decided to part ways from his family and join a temple in the guiding light of Vybris, The Cardinal of Aptitude. The templars of the temple saw Nirvis’ latent potential in combat and sought that Nirvis should abandon his role of priesthood and consign him into being a Templar of Vybris. He succeeded in the initiation rites – The Path of Truth and embarked on his lifelong assignment to vanquish all foul invaders deemed a danger to the belief of Vybris and the citizens of the sea.   After the year 2190KE, concluding the Ortis of the Leavkin, this was a turning point towards the triton. Fearing the surrounding nations and themselves falling victim to their former past, the triton chief elders enlisted small operation forces composing of templars, soldiers and ranger scouts in groups of eight to roam the lands of Pelagus to report any malicious activity or deal with it themselves. Nirvis was part of these forces. Unfortunately, during one of his team’s tasked expeditions across Mount Ogehead, his company was suspected of being tailed by the unknown, upon returning to the peninsulas of the mountain, the company was ambushed by overwhelming forces of ogres which were assumed to have their scouts tailing them. The ambush was short and brief as a split-second decision between the small task force was made to split up. Nirvis, giving patronage to his templar oaths decided to stand his ground to buy time for the others, slaying a couple of ogres with him. However, he heard his comrades gnarled as slaughter echoes amidst the mountain valleys. The sounds frayed his concentration of battle which led him to be struck in the face and hurled off a cliff and down into a forest, assuming the force eliminated, the ogres let up the chase and return to their hideouts victorious.   Waking up from consciousness, Nirvis was unsure whether his efforts safeguarded any of his comrades. He thought of returning back home but his hubris battered the thought, he was unsatisfied and worried his acts of returning was sign cowardice and taint the name of his temple and the noble rites as a vanguard towards his people, so he set off independently to begin his journey in hopes to spread his name around the land and deemed worthy of returning home.

A Templar of Vybris, spreading his name in order to return home through his heroic deeds.
