ChickenMole

General

ChickenMole is an artifical creation made from a special belt that can create fusions between 2 different animals; the top half of one and the bottom half of the other, and swap the halfs at will. It gets the name ChickenMole due to its preferred animal combination: a chicken head and mole legs.   The origins of the belt are largley a mystery. While everyone knows someone created it, no one has yet claimed responsibility nor ownership of it or ChickenMole. Stories go that it was the experiment of a mad scientist that made a getaway, with its abilties making particuarly challenging to capture.

Appearance

Due to its ability to change halfs and animals without limit, ChickenMole's appearance changes frequently. The only consistant part is the grey metal belt that divides its upper and lower parts. ChickenMole currently has 12 animal DNA samples within the belt and can theoretically hold countless more, those being; a black bat, a white chicken, an albino crocodile, a red dragon, a light blue fish, a green frog, a dark blue star-nosed mole, a purple octopus, an orange rabbit, an orange scorpion, a Skytar, and a black & yellow spider.

Unique Traits

Abilities

  • DNA Absorbsion: Through direct contact, ChickenMole can absorb new DNA samples into its belt.
  • Amphibious: Various parts grant the best of both worlds, allowing for survival above and below water.
  • Aquatic Lungs: Some upper parts grant the ability to survive underwater.
  • Dig Speed: The appendages of some species allow for underground tunneling.
  • Echolocation: A unique tool for locating something when vision is limited.
  • Flight: Wings atached to the bodies of some creatures grant full flight.
  • Gliding: Some animal parts may not have flight capabilities but can still offer a slower decent.
  • Grapple: A few parts can be used to grab things from further away.
  • Strong Jumper: Some creature parts allow for much higher jumping than others.
  • Strong Runner: Powerful legs on some species can make some combionations particuarly speedy on land.
  • Strong Swimmer: Various aquatic species grant a much faster swim speed.
  • Wall Climbing: Some parts allow for vertical traveral up and down surfaces.

Weaknesses

  • Exhaustion: Continuous rapid swaps can wear ChickenMole out very quickly. Likewise, switching animal pairs takes time that makes him vulnerable.
  • No Jump: Some creatures lack the ability to effectivly jump for one reason or another.
  • Poor Walker: The legs of some creatures, or lack of, hinder walking speed and prevent running all together.
  • Poor Eyesight: A few heads lack excellent vision, which can make navigating a challenge.
  • Water Dependency: Fully aquatic species lack the ability to breath air, while they can hold their breath for a while.

Trivia

  • ChickenMole was originally named (and designed as) ChickenFish, but was later changed due to the funnies and laziness.
  • Skytars are not native to this world, and so it is unclear how ChickenMole has a sample of one.
