Aart is a quite smooth alcoholic drink that is usually consumed in high volumes due to the severe delay of intoxication that the consumer experiences.
On average, the effect of intoxication after 1 drink of Aart, which is usually served in a small, round, glass containing around 150 ml, will be noticed 72 hours after consumption of the drink.
If a consumer decides to drink more than 1 glass of Aart, the moment of intoxication will be brought forward by 4 hours after each subsequent drink. This means that the consumer can consume upto 18 glasses of Aart before feeling intoxicated whilst they are drinking. This rarely happens though because 1 glass of Aart tends to be sold for 1 - 3 silver pieces in most bars, taverns and inns, meaning it is not something everything can afford.

When someone actually starts feeling the effects of intoxication it is a little bit different than most other alcoholic brews.
The intoxicated person stays aware of their actions and their speech is still the same as when they are not intoxicated. The main thing that changes is that they gain a lot of confidence in speaking to anyone, even the scariest people. A side effect of this drink is that, when the consumer does speak, they are often confusing and vague, leading to lots of questions to anyone that has the patience to listen.
The effects of intoxication wear off after 4 hours and leave the consumer rather confused about the things they might have said from the top of their lungs.
Luckily for them though, 4 hours is much longer than anyone really cares to listen for.
