The Court of Jesters

Widely considered untrustworthy or dangerous, this Guild is considered incredibly powerful, but is rarely actually hired by anybody due to their reputation of doing tricks and misdeeds, such as giving cursed items to people without specifying so, or going after other adventurers to steal what treasure they find.

Headed by the Master of Ceremony, who is appointed by the previous Master of Ceremony

Assets

Has a large number of members, all of which must devote themselves to any form of comedy or humor. Also, "Hop Frog" Palazzo is the personal Court Jester of His Imperial Highness of All Kingdoms, Francis Prosperius II of Camulus.

History

Originally an entertainer's union, it's since grown to be one of the largest adventurer's guilds in the world. It has also taken a slightly religious tone as time has gone on, as they claim to entertain to appease The Simper.

Divine Origins

The Simper, their primary god, is said to have been created by the first act of kindness a human did to another, finally separating us from animals, who only act in their self interest.
