Deep Beetle

Deep beetles are a type of beetle that has adapted to living in the Darklands. They are about the size of a horse and are commonly used as mounts and guardians by underground creatures, especially the deurgar. Unlike many beetles, deep beetles have lost their ability to fly. They still have wings, however, which they can often use to intimidate and scare foes.
