Battle of the Fallen Spear

The battle widely regarded as the ultimate victory of the Iron Legion is the conflict known as the Battle of the Fallen Spear. The Five Spear Monks were driven out of the City of Bridges and a great many heroes died in the bloody conflict. Laying siege to the largest known city in the world was just the show of power that the Iron Lord needed to break the will of the people.
Though the heroes fought valiantly, in the end, the city fell and was taken by the Iron Lord. The few remaining monks gathered the corpses of the heroes that they could and disappeared into the night.l
