Awakenings

The heroes are all powerful adventurers, a part of an adventuring group. They are fighting a powerful fire giant known as the Iron Lord who has managed to pull together giants, orcs and various goblinoids into a an actual fighting force to be reckoned with. Most of the world has been conquered by the Iron Legion. The heroes make a last, desperate stand at the City of Bridges..
....they all get killed, slaughtered by the Iron Lord and his minions.
