Paracosm

Paracosm is a star-shaped island floating in the celestial void, a luminous sanctuary where gods walk alongside elementals, where mythical beings dwell in harmony with the magically gifted, all bound by a sacred covenant — to seek and safeguard the Artifacts, those crystallized Hearts of fallen deities, entrusting them to the Sacred Vessels who carry divine essence within their mortal chests, strong enough to bear the weight of godhood itself, guardians of the eternal hope that someday these Hearts might bloom again into resurrected divinity.
  Above this realm of living prayer, the Great Mother — she who birthed all magic — keeps her eternal vigil; yet she slumbers now in the depths of divine exhaustion, her consciousness stretched across the endless work of breathing life into new worlds while mourning those already lost to the void, for when magic dies, so too does the world that cradles it, leaving only memory and the ache of what once was.
