The Origins
The Origins are the holy texts of the Canonite religion. They were written by devas from the Outer Planes in Celestial on marble tablets and delivered to the peak of Mount Ascendancy by Archangel Nanitus around 1500 BM, where they were found by the human priest Faerie and presented to the world. There was one tablet written by each of the major gods, with some containing addendums from demi-gods. In the Origins each god outlines their values and commandments and agrees that the inhabitants of the Material Plane will decide which values and commandments prevail by which deities draw the most followers. The stone tablets passed around the world for centuries. Eventually they were kept magically sealed and protected in the mightiest vaults in the land by the Panatheon Church in Titan, but were lost in the Cataclysm. The Origins are reprinted in holy texts in all languages with notes, songs and prayers written by historic prophets of the Panatheon Church.
