Newmian wetlands is the ancestral home of the Draconic people. A small country and constantly under attack from the northerin Grinianist crusades as they seek to wipe out the "Demonic creatures." The Newmians find strong allies with the dark elves of Elyth.

Newmia despite being coastal and low lying in its nature tends not to have much in the way of coastal towns and cities due to frequent tidal flooding.

Politics

The Newmians are ruled by a ruling class of its people. This oligarchy is called "The Aspects Clutch." There are five members and each one is chosen by the most able member of their chosen "caste's" purview.

Culture

Newmian culture is about excellence in and discipline in application to your craft. Newmian children will choose their aspect upon their 12th birthday, at this time they will be removed from their parents, should they be of a different aspect. They will be placed under the care of a master of the aspect and taught their trade specifically. To excell in Newmian culture is to be the best at what you do.

Newmian culture prizes itself in self-discipline and propriety in all things, it is not just enough to be talented, although this will forgive many transgressions one makes. There is a dignity that should be carried by the master to encourage awe in their pupils and represent the aspect well.

Religion

The Newmian religion worships the spirits of the world and believes that everything in the world has a spirit, some being more powerful than others. The priests of the Newmian religion preach the importance of maintaining a respect of the world around you to ensure you do not offend the spirits and there is a deeprooted superstition which acts as a preventative guide to angering spirits.
