History
Pangaea used to be a barren solar system, one no other system wanted and left to collect dust on the shelf so to speak. That was until the settlers from earth came. When they arrived, the council was afraid due to their history of destroying planets that they would kill any system they gave them, so they gave them what the humans would name the Pangaean system. Humans called it this because of the word that was used to describe their old world before it was destroyed.
Age of Domination
Pangaea had an age where it dominated the entire system, mainly through the influence of environmental law. They witnessed the destruction of a planet first hand and vowed to make sure that it never happened again. They became clear advocates for protecting natural resources and preserving the natural wealth of the galaxy. Many sided with Pangaea and passed laws that would shape the future to a better tomorrow.
Not everyone was happy with these changes though, many of the members in the council and business people only saw a loss of profit and there for power. Many started to hate the new system and sought to eliminate the threat to their wealth.
