Celandine's Lament

This species of rare celandine poppies are known for its drooping flowers, looking as if in great sorrow or in great lament, hence the name.   This vegetation possesses a unique connection, in particular to the All-Mother. Aside from the visible Moss growth on various Moss Kings' and Elks' a visible mark of those kings and elks who align themselves with the All-Mother is the addition of Laments on their backs. Meanwhile, those kings who do not align with and serve the All-Mother will not have these flowers grown on their backs.
It should be noted that while Elks remain mostly neutral if they ever find themselves in service of the All-Mother, will they grow Laments on their backs, however by not having flowers on their backs does not mean they are not willing to serve the All-Mother, or they are in service of the Maker. However, this cannot be said about the Moss Kings.
Additionally, these flowers, if grown on the backs of Moss Kings or Moss Elks, will bloom all year. However, if they are ever found within nature, it will signal their blooming place the location of the All-Mother's new burial site.
More information regarding the All-Mother's burial site: The All-Mother will rise from her slumber (after recharging herself from the previous awakening) every few years or so. There is no discernible pattern. Thus it is up to the Four Horsemen to read various ecological signs to determine if the All-Mother is due to rise again. The first sign of the All-Mother waking again will be a large environmental disaster (but not destructive) near the site where she will wake. Then, the Horsemen must scour the location for the growth of Celandine's Laments, as it usually will grow in the shape of a coffin, signaling that is the location of the burial site (other vegetation such as moss or fungi will also grow with the laments). But the most daunting indication will be the Laments. It is there the Horsemen must dig for the All-Mother's new grave. False burial sites could be moss and fungus grown without laments in the shape of a coffin or Laments grown with moss and fungi in shapes other than a coffin. Once the mother is dug out of her new grave, she will be disorientated and requires a large feast. She will likely wander off in confusion if she wakes without a Horsemen present. Once the All-Mother receives her feast, she leaves to salvage an ecologically endangered site for the time being (for example, regrowing the dying coral reefs, resurrecting a burnt forest, etc., or destroyed sites). Once she finishes her task, she will again depart on her own to the burial site where she has risen and buried herself and sleep again until the next awakening.   The plant also contains various medicinal properties if prepared correctly. Extracts may be used to slow the Moder's Old-Growth-induced corruptions.
