Effgaw the Battle-Brewer

Infusions: turf, soil, grass, hops, malt, wheat     A Turf-Troll Brewer, who specialises in beers with combat-applicable effects (as well as being handy in a fight). Unusual for his people in his love of travel.   Long-lived, older, and with a long career behind him – fought in the War of the Red Lakes nearly 200 years ago.   originally some 8 feet tall, he has shrunk to a more modest 5 foot 6 by the present day. Has red-tipped grass.   Weaponry and armour:
  • Big heavy naginata-type glaive/falchion - his current weapon, Heart-Hewer, has a head of Molomet iron and a haft of Oak, and has lasted him 12 years
  • (Back-up) flail/branched chain (with spikes)
  • Chainmail
  • Small Buckler/arm-guards for defence
  • wears mask/veil of hanging grasses to cover his face in combat

General Physical Condition

Poor personal hygeine - rusted chainmail with plants growing through it, often laden with small kegs and bottles.

Able to brew beers that give special infusions to self or others when drunk.   Beer effects (these involve using assorted other essences):
