Elector-Prince

A hereditary or non-hereditary position granted by the Citizen-Emperor. Elector-Princes vote to decide the next Citizen-Emperor when the prior one has passed away.
Once an individual is appointed an Elector-Prince, their family becomes hereditary royalty for 3 generations. After the 3rd generation has reached 40- years old, the family is voted on for promotion to Elector, stasis as an Elector-Prince, or return to the social status of commoners.
