Yamishire

The Yamishire is a celebration of freedom from the Yamishiris cruel terroristic reign over Glorina. The festival involves burning banners with the symbol of the Yamishiri, and after burning the banners, there is feasting and drinking for the rest of the day.

History

At an unknown time, spirits called 'Yamishiri' supposedly once reigned terror upon the land. When the Yamishiri were killed by Ronan, the Glorinians were overjoyed and celebrated. To this day the Glorinians still celebrate the freedom from the terror that Yamishiri caused.

Execution

Banners with a symbol of the Yamishiri are placed, and then they are burned to ashes. Once the banners have been burned, the festival continues with feasting and drinking until finally the families are released.

Components and tools

The festival uses white banners with the symbol of the Yamishiri and a torch to burn them with.

Participants

The king visits the event to give a speech, feast with the people, etc.

The festival is held on the first week of every month.
