Matirns (may-turn(s))
Matirns is the title for the universal currency. It can be traded in for other currencies, and is commonly accepted at markets or stores. Matirns have 2 other coins with different worths. Matirn is the most valuable coin, while the Matirni is one step less valuable, and the Asrin is the lowest value of the 3. The Matirns are made from silver or gold, making them valuable.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Its made of metal. Very complex inner workings and mechanics. (I'm being sarcastic)
Manufacturing process
In order to make a coin, silver and gold are melted down together and cooled in small circular shapes. Once the coin is cooled enough to be safely handled and still soft, a stamp is pressed hard down into one side of the coin. The same thing is done on the other side, and the coin is left to cool. Once cooled, it will go to a work checker who will check the newly made coin to make sure it is done properly and has no imperfections in it. After all this is done, the coin is sent out into the public to be used.
History
The coins were invented as a universal currency that could be used and accessed by anyone.

It's a currency. It's pretty significant if I do say so myself.

Raw materials & Components
An average Matirn or Matirni is made of part silver and part gold, giving it a very shiny and glossy texture.
Tools
All that is needed to make one is a special metal stamp that is pressed into the coin to make the design that you see. The stamp is only accessible through the government to keep forgers from forging fake coins.
