Kramiri (Chruh-meeree)

Kramiri is an annual celebration of freedom from Lucrias. It is celebrated by hanging colorful lanterns everywhere possible, and feasting late into the night. After eating, there are games played by everyone which involve a lot of physical activity and are designed to be fun. After 1:00 AM in the morning, the games end with a drink of Kortri (A Glorinian wine that is expensive and considered a delicacy.) After that, everyone is sent home.

History

20 years after Glorina was founded, Lucrias began terrorizing Glorina. He wanted Glorina to be his slaves, and later a war broke out and freed it. To celebrate, people hung colorful lanterns that were bright and beautiful, just like freedom.

Execution

People will hang colorful lanterns, and then feast. The colorful lanterns represent happiness, which is the feeling that the Glorinians felt when they finally were freed from Lucrias's tyranny. The feasting is showing happiness over the food they had, since they had very little food while they were slaves.
