Kortri (core-tree)

Kortri is a beer or alcoholic beverage. It is considered to be a delicacy and is very expensive. Kortri is usually used in toasts or festivals, and is very hard to obtain. It has a red/purple color and is sour yet sweet at the same time. It is made from fermented fruit juice and grapes.

History

The drink was made from fruit juice that had sat in a dusty cellar for too long, resulting in fermentation, but also an alcoholic beverage is produced. This was later sold privately, and eventually, it became so popular that the Majitir of Glorina heard of it and tried it himself. The Glorinian king loved it so much that he declared it should be made all across the country. Because so many people bought this product, Kortri was scarce. Eventually, the king declared that it should only be used on rare and certain occasions, or sold for expensive prices in annual markets.

The taste of the wine is so delicious, it became the pride of Glorina.
