Felroth Settlement

Felroth Settlement is a small village that is meant for families that work in the rive collecting Sanguit Stones. The city lays are the mouth of Felroth Lake on Trauss River. It is a unique city as the center of the city is above the middle of the river and stretches to either side. The center, which is built above the river, is where ships are deployed and where the Sanguit Stones are processed, refined, and stored. Off the river is where families live.    When Felroth was first founded, it was a single bridge that was used to transport goods to either side of the river and three buildings. One for lodgings, one for refinement and storage of the stones, and the last for the building for storing tools needed to collect the stones. As the work drew more people to the settlement, the city began to build out, building only what was needed at the time. Over time, as the need for the stones grew and more funding was sent to the city, and the city grew inward, into the river, before expanding.    When a new family comes to the settlement for work, they are given a vacant home if there are any. If not, a new house is built for the "oldest" family living in the oldest house in the city. The new family takes the older house and the already settled family gets an upgrade. As the house is being built, the new family lives in the inn on the shore of the river. They are not charged for their stay as long as the family continues to work during and after the new house is being built.    This city because of the value of the minerals they collect receives a lot of funding and therefore is able to experiment with construction and new materials and tools. They are the most technologically advanced settlement. Many of the tools invented in this city are often redesigned to help other professions such as miners and arborists.
