Ser Rylan was born in Fen just across The Tall Mountains. He grew up in one of the smaller houses in the kingdom and grew up always wanting to be a knight. When he was a teenager his sister was kidnapped and killed. He found who did it and killed him. when it was time to become a knight he had a hard time with it. But soon after he was contacted specifically to serve in the kings guard under Althena Keenoak' s grandfather.
