Chapter 1: The Sylvan Strife

As the Shadow percolated throughout the Void, it fell first upon the Hidden Kingdoms of the Fey. The Shadow preyed upon the faults of the Elves and dispersed greed and corruption throughout them. In Elves with positions of power, the Shadow filled their minds with hatred, fury, and a desire to reclaim the lands that once belonged to them in the Material Plane. As the Shadow continued to envelop the Hidden Kingdoms, the corruption spread across the Fey, twisting the lowest among them into creatures of evil. As the Elves prepare for war, lesser Fey have begun to harass settlements on the Material Plane. Some good Fey fled, and can frequently be found warning Humans of terrible things to come.
