King of Cardoron, The Conqueror Rikarr Pelion Ucgeth de Rougegard

The fifth ruler of the Kingdom of Cardoron.
Was crowned the 823 year of the Imperial Era after his father King Ubald 'the Wise' de Rougegard suddenly became sick and died.
Rikarr was named King Rikarr II after his grandfather King Rikarr I de Rougegard.
Life and Conquest's
Rikarr II was taught to be a great ruler and leader of armies. He used this to expand his kingdom in all directions. To the north he conquered the Duchy of Herve from Duke Derondon III by just marching his troops into the duchies capital Samur demanding that Derondon III to swear fealty to him. This Derondon refused, but this Rikarr had forsen so he drew his sword and seperated Derondon's head from its shoulders. He then asked Derondon's son Dodon which technically was the new Duke of Herve. His mother said stop and pleaded to her son that he should swear fealty immediately, he heeded and did so. Rikarr's next conquest was Minor Leonia which belonged to the Kingdom of Leonia, a small peninsulean kingdom to the north west. King Uren I of Leonia and Rikarr meet in battle. After two days and two nights of intense battling Rikarr came out victorious. King Uren himself laid dead along with 4 000 of his countrymen. Minor Leonia was taken, halving Leonias domain. The new king of Leonia, Uren II Rhelyn son of the late king Uren gloweringly wrote his name on the treaty papers of peace.
Rikarr converted firstly himself and later his realm to the Ubertist faith. This made it so the he had more power. He could also continue to conquer more lands. Rikarr's next target was the Dukedom of Béarnia to the south. This dukedom had belonged to the Kingdom of Cardoron before, but Rikarr's conversion to the Ubertist faith didn't sit well with the Cardoronian's to the south. They had therefore rebelled, leaving the kingdom. Rikarr acted swiftly and brought his forces to the city of Agen located on a big inland island bordering Béarnia. The leaders of the revolt in Béarnia heard of this and bolsterd their defences along the river of Frexis which seperated the Kingdom of Cardoron and Béarnia to the south, and of course the city of Agen. Rikarr arrived and saw that the other side of the river was heavily defended. He saw no way of attacking that wouldn't lead to his defeat. Therefore he orderd half of his army to defend the loyalist Cardoronian side of the river. He then took the other half and marched east towards the ancient fractured lands of Fuqi. Fuqi was a land ruled by no less than three etchnicities. Rikarr send word to all Cardoronian's that lived their that he would support their claim on the lands of Fuqi and help them to gain full control if they aided him. They accepted and together they crushed the Béarnian revolt. Mounting a assault across the river of Fuxis.
After the defeat of the Béarnian revolt Rikarr helped the Fuqi Cardoronian's and established the Great Cardoronian Republic of Fuqi. They gladly converted to the Ubertist faith and the other two etchnisities of Fuqi were treated as trash and became enslaved.
Rikarr's last an most triumphant conquest was of Greater Istimiia to the east. Greater Isimiia was ruled by three lords. The lord of Upper Istimiia, Dittmarion. The lord of middle Istimiia, Graffidor. And the lord of lower Istimiia, Pra'hannid. When Rikarr marched over the border there was not any sign of the three lord's armies. Rikarr marched his army to Castle Graffidor. Inside was the entire army of lord Graffidor. Lord Graffidor shouted from the walls of his keep -"Things will not be so easy her 'my king', these walls had stood for a thousand years and they will not be conquered by Rougegardian scum. We will defend these walls till our last breath." Rikarr saw that it would take long to seige Castle Graffidor, but Rikarr was not named the 'Great' for no reason. He began the seige. He called his alies from the Great Cardoronian Republic of Fuqi to seige the castle of the lord of lower Istimiian. Lord Pra'hannid was a sworn enemy of the Fuqi and was of Ramharidian origin, one of three ethnicities in Fuqi.
After 2 months of isolation both the castles were taken and the men inside was slaughterd like their leader Graffidor had told, "to the last man". Rikarr was not done however. By now you started to see that after years of campaigning, Rikarr had aged fast. He had white stains in his ebon-mane and his emerald eyes had started to fade. He bore many a scar from many diffrent battles. The most grotesque one from the seige of Castle Graffidor. The Istimiians had faught well and it was lord Graffidor that in a last ditch effort had sent all he had left, and during this last push Rikarr had been cut on his cheek leaving a terrible scar which he would wear the rest of his life as a reminder of the strength of the Istimiians and Castle Graffidor. Dittmarion Castle was the last bastion of hope for the remaining Istimiians. But after the defeat of the other lords, the Dittmarion lord didn't see the point of fighting and surrendered to Rikarr. Rikarr allowed him to keep his lands if he converted to the way of the Serpent (Ubertist faith), this Dittmarion did.
During Rikarrs expansions he crowned himself again but this time by own hand and not by a bishop putting the crown on his head. This tradition his son Peuppét continued after him.
Rikarr married Lucabelle daughter of the Bernish King Edam and had three daughters with her. She died after the birth of Helenna. Rikarr remarried because he wanted a male heir. This time he married Princess Evelyn daughter of Emperor Artimo Stierhorner son of Gozelo I of The Empire. With her he had three more children two sons and a daughter. During Rikarr's expansion wars he lay with alot of other women. From this he had two bastard sons ans one bastard daughter. Rikarr outlived his wife Evelyn and married a third time and had one last daughter with a noble mistress named Lady Sánndra.
