Ila Ontaretz
Grand-Matriarch Ila Ontaretz
Ila Ontaretz is the founder and first Great Master of Roportass. As a sign of honor, she received the posthumous title Grand Matriarch Of Roportass. Subsequent Great Masters were only bestowed the title Patriarch or Matriarch, providing they were considered leaders, founder or creators of note.
She would only appear again in the deed of purchase, for a piece of land known as Ropalos. Ropalos would eventually become Roportass.
For a short while during the war between the Balos-Stamlin alliance and the Xotol union, she would be incarcerated by the Balosian queen Ludwina Balosini. After the war Ila would go on to establish the citystate of Roportass. Several fellow Xotol member fleets showed interest to establish themselves as founding families within Roportass. Ila then created the Master Council of Roportass, adding these new families as members and establish herself as the first Grand Master of Roportass.
She would go on ruling over Roportass turning it slowly into one of the most prosperous cities in Imelia.
Origin of the name
Ontaretz is unlikely to have been Ila's original name. As per tradition, members of the Ontaretz fleet, take on the name of the fleet as a sign of allegiance. Nothing is known about Ila's real name or lineage.Biography

While one could generaly describe the Ontaretz and similar fleets as pirates. The majority of their activities were under contract, on behalve of the various trade guilds or nations surrounding the Middeland sea.
The Xotol Alliance
The origin or the meaning of the name is unknown; but it is said to be centuries old and count members across all the world seas. The inner workings of the alliance is shrouded in mystery and some rumors even claim that the Xotol are just a part of a secret world hidden in the vastness of the world oceans.
