Choose a creature that you can see within 5 feet and that can see you. Your eyes blaze with a powerful, shining light that burns the target with its touch. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 3d8 radiant damage and is blinded for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the blindness on a success. On a successful save, the target takes half as much radiant damage and is blinded until the end of its next turn.
At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the radiant damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
