Escaping the Tomb

The group manages to leave the temple behind and begin the investigation on the strange men in their country.

The group found an old temple of Seraph, the Goddess of the Church of the Black Moon and inside they found a ganzi woman bound in chains through a ritual of her own choosing to save the remembrance of her dying faithful. She offered the group the chance to leave through, if one of them would bear a mark they couldn't hide for all to remember her Goddess, but they refused and instead beat her into near death and forced her to allow them through. Robert raged against his inner desires to kill the woman as punishment for what happened to his father but decided instead to let the woman live, yielding to the groups decision.   As they once again started their ascent through the caves they saw the figure running towards them , but as he passed the temple chains flew out and started attacking them, giving the party enough time to fully escape. Once out and back into the mountain range they parted with Geoff amicably and headed back into town to talk to Baru.   As they bargained with him for the Lamashtan relics they had found they told him of what had happened and asked many questions about what would happen from here on out. He decided to confer with Itintra upon hearing everything and told them he would report back in a few days.   With a few days to spare in the city the started to investigate the mysterious poison on the arrow, and sought out a drow merchant named Vaeril Helewarin who is known for the less than legal types of activity in the city. They gave him some historical books as a sign of good faith and then traded many items with him, asking him for a contact for a poisons expert.   They were lead to Yralissa Tordove a Driders specializing in all things deadly, and traded rather amicably with them, buying the Poison of Ivan which could turn people into ghasts from them, the group seemingly didn't care what she would use it for.   During this time Shul Talak proslyted around the city and found a willing warpriest to join his cause in return for a little payment from the journey's. With a follower now in tow perhaps the first seed of his cult had begun to form.   A few days later after meeting with Baru once again he informed them that they may be dealing with an incursion into their country. He offered advice for them to go to Algelona (WIP) and investigate there but they instead chose to go after the other 9 fallen groups and investigate the tombs there. Stopping at a little hamlet on the way where supposedly a band of troops had passed through they found two drunken fellows spending large amounts of foreign currency. Inviting them out to have a special drink with them the group ambushed and interogated them to find that Gerald was the leader of a mercenary group that had come in through Algelona and hired many people to go with him as he raided the tombs, and slaughtered the Rosenan expedition groups.   They let him go after Keun Cheol'Son told them to go and spread who had defeated them.
