Timlors Rest

The ruins of Timlor's rest spell a tragic end to one of the many heroes of old. After the Era of Prosperity began, mortal races ventured in all directions looking for their chance at more than just surviving. One such settlement was the town known as Old Ashton, named for the color of the stone the town hall was built on. Years passed, countless leaders rose and fell before one named Vincent Timlor took the helm as Margrave for the town. He led his people with pride, and they returned his kind leadership with devotion. In the year of 98 PR , the town was forever changed. An ambush that no one saw coming, an orc warband came rolling into town just after dark, and laid siege to the town. The defenders put up a valiant effort but knew they were going to lose. Vincent, took up his armor and sword, standing in between the orc warband and the escaping civilians to give them a chance at surviving. Many Orcs and men died that day, including Vincent Timlor. The survivors of the attack eventually returned, giving their people proper burials and giving Vincent a heroes goodbye. A statue was erected in his honor in the middle of the ruined city, and to this day stands as a reminder to what took place for any who travel through.
