The Candere Passage

The small village known as Candere Passage was founded originally as a guard post, on the eastern edge of the desert, it gave troops a resupplying and resting point from the scorching heat of the desert. Overtime, more people began to use the location as protection from the desert or a final resting point before treking across the sands. Built into a rocky cleft, the location helps protect it from the scorching heat of the sands, along with the occasional sandstorm that blows through. A small spring provides the necessary water for survival, and an inn called 'The Desert Grotto' was founded to house the people. The last thing to open was a general store, offering goods to any in need before they venture across the desert.
