The Barren Dunes

The Barren Dunes lay to the southeastern side of Durbar. Hundreds of miles of sand dunes choke out both life and means of easy travel in this region of Durbar. Over the years, many have tried to use the dunes as a short cut for travel, to which most lost their lives or caravans to the swallowing sands. The dunes are home to a variety of giant lizards known as Drakes, they do not share wings like their draconic ancestors, but do share their ferocity.
