Quavey

The city of Quavey is a sprawling marketplace. The majority of the city stands on stilts above the oceans surface, bringing the town closer to its naval customers. With port locations on each side of the town, the majority of the people who go through Quavey are merchant ships of various companies. Due to the limited size of the town, no guilds have managed to make partnerships with the elder of the town. The current elder, Miyaka Roku, prefers to maintain the cities founding purpose. She serves the people of Quavey and does not want to fall beneath the controlling hand of a trade company.

Due to the unique location on the edge of the Mangrove swamp to the southeast, a variety of seafood is sold in this marketplace. The locals take their narrow boats out to the local reefs, and even into the mangroves to collect a variety of mollusks and crustaceans that fetch a hefty price in the market.
