Goldrinth

The city of Goldrinth has succumbed to the passage of time. Originally founded for the ore mines made in the varying swamps, the city was inviting for a people looking for good work. The town prospered for nearly forty years before many of the mines dried up or collapsed due to the poor infrastructure the swamp mud held. As the mining companies moved away however, most of the people living within Goldrinth found themselves stuck. Current time, people are struggling to survive. The swamps offer difficult terrain for crops, mostly being able to grow root vegetables and rice, being their primary export. The swamps have mixed wildlife, but poisonous frogs, snakes and large alligators make up some of the dangers that lurk in murky waters. The city of Goldrinth is home to the Murkdew Inn, founded when it began its rush for gold.
